Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Lumiseek’s web application through which we principally deliver the Services. This Privacy Policy applies to both individuals and organizations (“Customer”). If you do not wish to have your personal information collected, used, and disclosed in accordance with this policy, you should not access or use the Services or Website.

In addition, a separate agreement governs delivery, access and use of the Services ( the “ Customer Terms of Service ”), including the processing of any messages, files or other content submitted through Services accounts (collectively, “Customer Data”). The organization (e.g., your employer or another entity or person) that entered into the Terms of Service (“Organization”) controls the scope of Services (their “Account”) and any associated Organization Data. 1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

In Short:We collect personal information that you provide to us.

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us.

  • Mobile Device Access. We may request access or permission to certain features from your mobile device, including your mobile device's camera, storage, and other features. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device's settings.
  • Push Notifications. We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or certain features of the application(s). If you wish to opt out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device's settings.This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our application(s), for troubleshooting, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

  •  To develop and provide search, learning and productivity tools and additional features. Lumiseek tries to make the Services as useful as possible for specific Accounts and Authorized Users.
  •  To send emails and other communications. We may send you service, technical and other administrative emails, messages and other types of communications. We may also contact you to inform you about changes in our Services, our Services offerings, and important Services-related notices, such as security and fraud notices. These communications are considered part of the Services and you may not opt out of them. In addition, we sometimes send emails about new product features, promotional communications or other news about Lumiseek. These are marketing messages so you can control whether you receive them.
  •  For billing, account management and other administrative matters. Lumiseek may need to contact you for invoicing, account management and similar reasons and we use account data to administer accounts and keep track of billing and payments.

  • If information is aggregated or de-identified so it is no longer reasonably associated with an identified or identifiable natural person or Organization, Lumiseek may use it for any business purpose.   • Performing Our Obligations Under the Customer Terms of Service.  Lumiseek will share and disclose Customer Data in performing our obligations under the Customer Terms of Service and Customer’s use of Services functionality and settings and in compliance with applicable law and legal process.

  • Displaying the Services. Authorized Users’ names, titles, and associated organizations may be viewable by all Authorized Users (across all Customers). More specific information such as email, detailed profile, resume, etc. may be shared with other Authorized Users in specific forums, groups, subgroups with your permission. Information provided to populate organization profiles such as business, technology, research related details and strategic goals of the business will be viewable by all authorized users on the platform. Sensitive and confidential information should not be included in organizational profiles and only be shared with Authorized Users in specific forums, groups, subgroups with your permission.

  • Collaborating with Others. The Services provide different ways for Authorized Users connecting with their and other Accounts to collaborate. Information, such as an Authorized User’s profile Information, may be shared, subject to the policies and practices of the other Account(s) with the end-users’ permission

  • Customer Access. Owners, administrators, Authorized Users and other Customer representatives and personnel may be able to access, modify or restrict access to Information. This may include, for example, your employer using Services features to export logs of Account activity, or accessing or modifying your profile details.

  • Corporate Affiliates. Lumiseek may share Information with its corporate affiliates, parents and/or subsidiaries as required to create a customized solution for our end users and organizations.

  • During a Change to Lumiseek’s Business.If Lumiseek engages in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, reorganization, sale of some or all of Lumiseek’s assets or stock, financing, public offering of securities, acquisition of all or a portion of our business, a similar transaction or proceeding, or steps in contemplation of such activities (e.g. due diligence), some or all Information may be shared or transferred, subject to standard confidentiality arrangements.

  • Aggregated or De-identified Data. We may disclose or use Information that has been aggregated across our Customers and that does not identify any particular Customer or any natural person for any purpose. For example, we may share such aggregated or de-identified Information with partners and Customers for business or research purposes, such as providing industry and sector-specific trends and other business intelligence.

  • To Comply with Laws. If we receive a request for information, we may disclose Information if we reasonably believe disclosure is in accordance with or required by any applicable law, regulation or legal process.

  • To enforce our rights, prevent fraud, and for safety. To protect and defend the rights, property or safety of Lumiseek or third parties, including enforcing contracts or policies, or in connection with investigating and preventing fraud or security issues.

  • With Consent. Lumiseek may share Information with third parties when we have consent to do so.

  • Third Party Service Providers and Partners. We may engage third party companies or individuals as service providers or business partners to process Information and support our business. These third parties may, for example, provide virtual computing and storage services.

    This type of service allows this Application to access Data from your account on a third-party service and perform actions with it.

    These services are not activated automatically, but require explicit authorization by the User.

    Google Drive account access (Google LLC)
    This service allows this Application to connect with the User's account on Google Drive, provided by Google LLC.

    • Personal Data processed: device information; email address; first name; last name.
    • Place of processing: United States, EU – Privacy Policy.
    • Category of personal information collected according to CCPA: identifiers; internet information.
    • Displaying content from external platforms

    This type of service allows you to view content hosted on external platforms directly from the pages of this Application and interact with them.
    This type of service might still collect web traffic data for the pages where the service is installed, even when Users do not use it.

    Google Calendar widget (Google LLC)
    Google Calendar widget is a calendar content visualization service provided by Google LLC that allows this Application to incorporate content of this kind on its pages.

    • Registration and authentication

    By registering or authenticating, Users allow this Application to identify them and give them access to dedicated services.

    • When we use Google Maps Platform APIs.

    Lumiseek has its sister company (VCR Park) in India.     You may avoid our collection and use of manually submitted Personal Data by not providing it to us, although this may prevent us from providing Services you request or purchase.
